Almost Time

The 2008 edition of ISC East is expected to bring together more than 10,000 industry professionals and 400 exhibitors showcasing the newest and most exciting security products. The show will feature products and solutions in all areas of security, including access control, biometrics, fire control, systems integration and more. The conference will take place October 28 and 29 at the Jacob Javits Convention Center in New York City.

New to the show is the Transportation Worker Identification Card Forum hosted by the International Association of Airport and Seaport Police America’s Region, in conjunction with the U.S. Port Security Council. This outreach program to intended to inform the industry of developments in the Transportation Worker Identification Card program across the United States. The program is free to registered ISC East attendees, port authority officials and invited guests.

Returning favorite features include:

  • IP Institute: An education program focused on in-depth IP convergence training on a complete integrated security system. Industry experts from Microsoft and Cisco will deliver IP-based security solutions. Participants will participate in hands-on activities and upon completion, receive Professional Security Network Associate certification.
  • Urban Security: A “show-within-a-show” that features products, services and solutions for civil and commercial properties. Categories represented in this show include perimeter/barrier protection, detection, urban services, city emergency and crisis management, port and cargo, technical gear and more.
  • SmartHome: Designed to help customers deliver a completely integrated solution to a home.

The show also offers Product Training Sessions that provides an up-close look at the latest security products direct from the manufacturer. Sessions are presented by On-Net Surveillance Systems, Reach Systems, Dedicated Micros, DoorKing, Axis Communications and more.

ISC East will the place to be for security professionals to stay connected and informed on the most up-to-date and innovative products and trends.
